SpinJax
SpinJax is a game. It is the result of one of these lucky moments when you just start doing something randomly and your mind naturally creates a structure around the action. On a Friday night after a long week I was surprised to find a pouch of jacks in my backpack at the Weekly
New School Game Club Game Night. SpinJax is a marriage made in heaven between randomness and perhaps pure luck, the result of what they mean when they say: "Think about it while you are thinking about something else."

Rules of Play
Version 1
Parameters:
• Two players
• Four pairs of jacks in different colors.
• A flat and preferably smooth surface to spin the jacks on.
In this version the game can be played with two players only, working together as a team. With a set of 8 jacks the players try and spin all jacks at the same time for as long as possible. The goal of the game is having all 8 jacks spin at the same time. If any of them stops at any moment, players are supposed to grab them and spin again. The game is won when both players succeed in having all jacks spinning.
Version 2
Parameters:
• Two + players
• Jacks in different colors, as many as they come, however the size and overall type of jack
need to be consistent.
• A flat and preferably smooth surface to spin the jacks on.
In this version of the game the number of players can grow depending on the number of jacks available. A set of 8 jacks can easily accommodate 2 to 3 players. Players compete against each other. The goal of the game is to collect all jacks. To start, each player takes one jack in a different color from the pile. On a count to 3 all players spin their jacks. The jack that remains spinning after all the rest have stopped is the winner. The winning player wins the jacks of the other players.
